Here are some paintings I did with the sumi I made. I ground the sumi as usual. It was pretty dry and crumbly and went down quickly.
作った墨で絵を描きました。ふつのように墨を摩って、けっこ乾いて、もろいでした。墨が割と早くへりました。
I was given some soot the other day and decided to try to make sumi. Here are the photos:

I haven’t tried grinding the sumi ball yet. It needs to dry for a few months. It’ll be interesting to see if it actually works!
まだ墨ボールを摩ってみていません。数ヶ月間乾かさなければなりません。うまく摩るでしょうか！
